Create an app on the Safaricom Daraja portal, then enter your shortcode, consumer key, consumer secret and passkey under Payments → M-Pesa. Register C2B URLs to receive PayBill/Till confirmations, and use STK Push from the POS. Each company's credentials are encrypted and never shared.
